Logaby ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Data Storage

Your baby's data stays on your device. Logaby stores all tracking data (feedings, diapers, sleep, weight) locally on your iPhone using Apple's secure on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to use the Family Sync feature.

Family Sync Feature

If you choose to sync data with family members:

Data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers
Only family members with your invite code can access your data
You can leave a family group at any time
Leaving a family removes your access to synced data but preserves your local data

Voice Data

When you use voice logging:

Your voice is converted to text on your device
The text (not audio) is sent to our AI service to parse the activity
We do not store voice recordings
Parsed activities are stored locally on your device (or synced if using Family Sync)

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information:

Email address — Only if you join our waitlist or contact support
Usage analytics — Anonymous, aggregated data to improve the app (no personal information)
Purchase information — Handled entirely by Apple; we only receive confirmation of purchase status

Information We Do NOT Collect

Your baby's name or personal details
Your location
Photos or videos
Contacts
Voice recordings

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — For Family Sync data storage (only if you opt in)
Anthropic (Claude AI) — For voice text parsing (text only, not stored)
Apple — For in-app purchases and app distribution

Data Retention

Local data: Stored until you delete the app
Family Sync data: Stored while you're part of a family; deleted when you leave
Waitlist emails: Retained until you unsubscribe

Children's Privacy

Logaby is designed for parents and caregivers, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You can:

Delete all local data by deleting the app
Leave a family group to stop cloud syncing
Request deletion of any cloud data by contacting us
Unsubscribe from emails at any time

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
